GenAI Engineer at IDEA TSG
Building a GenAI platform from the ground up: retrieval-augmented assistants in production, evaluation, and the engineering scaffolding around them. Two RAG assistants live; a third is in progress.
GenAI engineering at IDEA TSG, since April 2026. The work is building a GenAI platform from scratch and the assistants that run on it: two retrieval-augmented (RAG) assistants are in production — one serving HR, one serving electrical-grid regulation. A third, a regulatory-review assistant, is in progress.
The stack is FastAPI and PostgreSQL for the services, Qdrant for vector retrieval, RAGAS for evaluation, Azure Pipelines for delivery, and Langfuse for observability. Part of the role is technical mentoring within the team.
outcomes
- Built a GenAI platform from scratch. (Internal platform; not publicly linkable.)
- Two RAG assistants shipped to production — one for HR, one for electrical-grid regulation.
- A regulatory-review assistant is in progress.
